Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician Reviewer - Michigan

Dane Street is seeking experienced, Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians licensed in Michigan to join as independent physician reviewers. The role involves conducting medical record reviews and providing objective opinions on cases related to musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, rehabilitation, and functional impairment.

Location: Michigan, Remote

Responsibilities

• Reviewing medical records and supporting documentation
• Conducting evidence-based clinical assessments
• Preparing clear, comprehensive written reports
• Participating in peer-to-peer discussions when necessary
• Answering client-specific questions regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation services, and functional outcomes
• Applying current clinical guidelines and standards of care to all reviews

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Current, unrestricted Michigan medical license
• Active clinical practice or recent experience in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience
• Experience evaluating musculoskeletal, rehabilitation, pain management, and functional impairment cases preferred
• Ability to attend required orientation and training sessions
• Maintain all applicable licensure, certifications, credentialing, and professional requirements necessary to perform reviewer services
