Project Manager

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Project Manager to lead the deployment of Next Generation 911 solutions, enhancing emergency response capabilities through advanced technology and system integration.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from Initiation through Closing following PMBOK standards.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Master Project Plan.
• Acquire and maintain understanding of internal workflows to ensure project alignment.
• Own the successful implementation, cutover, and hand-off of emergency call handling projects.
• Generate and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and ensure milestones are met.
• Maintain project budgets, monitor financial objectives, and perform cost analyses.
• Perform risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, establish and nurture customer relationships, and lead project meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience managing complex deployment programs or software applications.
• PgMP, PMP, or CAPM certification is strongly desired.
• Remote position based in the United States with up to 50% travel.
• Experience with Public Safety communication systems is an asset.
• Proficient in project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project or Smartsheets.
• Strong financial, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and pass background/security checks.
• Master's Degree is an asset.
