Sales Consultant, Hospital Solutions (Upstate NY)

The Sales Consultant, Hospital Solutions at Fresenius Medical Care supports sales growth, customer engagement, and clinical support within an assigned territory, managing accounts and expanding product utilization.

Location: Syracuse, NY, USA

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 (Plus Sales Incentives)

Responsibilities

• Manage all new and existing accounts, identify and close new business opportunities, and deliver comprehensive solutions across the full product portfolio for both In Center and Hospital.
• Own all accounts in assigned territory, manage relationships, and represent the entire product portfolio.
• Identify and close new opportunities, develop solutions, and support implementation.
• Manage and nurture account relationships to drive expansion, renewals, and problem-solving.
• Engage in face-to-face customer calls.
• Lead collaboration with supporting roles to handle customer needs.
• Use sales tools daily for prospect and account management.
• Maintain accurate customer contracts and updates.
• Identify market trends and develop strategic plans.
• Build strong customer relationships with value-driven solutions.
• Support field activities like equipment evaluations, in-services, and training.
• Monitor and maintain market share, capture sales data.
• Develop technical and clinical proficiency.
• Attend events and training for professional growth.
• Exercise good judgment and comply with policies.
• Assist with projects and administrative duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience).
• 2-5 years’ related medical sales experience.
• Experience with consultative selling.
• Effective presentation and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
