Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior Associate of Accounting & Advisory Services to work in their Managed Solutions & Technology Group, focusing on leveraging technology to enhance financial operations and deliver innovative solutions to clients.

Responsibilities
- Support and lead portions of client engagements related to financial system implementations, accounting technology optimization, and managed accounting solutions.
- Analyze client accounting processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and technology enhancements.
- Assist with the configuration, implementation, and support of accounting systems and ERP platforms.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing operational support for financial software applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, workflows, and client procedures.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather business requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.
- Assist in the development of financial dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics solutions that provide clients with actionable business insights.
- Review work performed by associates and provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior team members.
- Communicate regularly with engagement teams and clients to ensure projects remain on schedule and deliverables meet quality standards.
- Stay current on emerging accounting technologies, automation tools, and industry best practices to support continuous improvement in service delivery.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret financial data and system outputs.
- Solid understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience working with accounting software or ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar financial systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, client-focused consulting environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest in technology-enabled accounting solutions, automation, and financial data analytics.
