Senior Cloud Engineer (Short Term Contract)

Zencore is a fast-growing company founded by former Google Cloud leaders, architects, and engineers, seeking candidates with significant experience in Google Cloud to join their team. The role involves working with innovative companies on cloud transformation projects, including infrastructure, application modernization, and data analytics.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Work with fast-paced innovative companies leveraging Cloud as the key driver of their transformation.
• Provide strategic guidance, facilitate technology decisions, and execute projects in a collaborative, co-development style.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience working with a major public cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with common DevOps tools and practices.
• Technical skills in Linux system administration, Networking (data center and cloud), MySQL or other Database Administration.
• Experience working with traditional data center environments and technologies (VMware, physical servers, storage arrays, networks/firewalls).
• Experience migrating applications from a data center environment to a public cloud is preferred.
• Ability to write scripts and automation in at least one language.
• Comfortable with being on video in meetings internally and with clients.
• Conversational proficiency in English.
