Senior Consultant, PATT

Alchemy is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join as a Workday Payroll Senior Consultant, focusing on implementing and optimizing Workday Payroll systems for clients.

Location: Remote

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities

• Lead clients through their Workday system implementation and project development lifecycle.
• Gather and understand customer payroll business requirements, design and configure the Workday Payroll solution, demonstrate configurations, lead and manage testing sessions, and complete knowledge transfer to customers.
• Identify and analyze business needs, translate technical requirements into business-appropriate terminology.
• Create and develop functional designs and specifications, analyze gaps, and provide solutions.
• Work with customers to review, understand, and convert legacy payroll history into Workday.
• Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other solutions.
• Consult with clients on data integrity issues and best practices using Workday.
• Ensure customers understand and utilize Workday and Alchemy best practices.
• Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools for deploying Workday.
• Help ensure customers remain referenceable in production.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting project scope or timeframe.
• Partner with project managers on project plans and budgets.
• Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model.
• Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as a Workday Payroll functional lead.
• 4+ years of payroll processing or implementation experience with Workday or similar applications.
• Ability to understand complex problems and identify solutions.
• Ability to manage timelines and goals.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Active Workday Payroll certification.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.
