Senior Payroll Administrator

Location: CST or EST time zone (US-based)

Salary: $52,025.00 - $97,528.69 per year, plus a target 5% annual bonus

Responsibilities

• Support payroll processing for biweekly and semi-monthly cycles for 10,000+ employees.
• Validate payroll inputs, troubleshoot exceptions, and meet deadlines.
• Support payroll testing, system changes, and process improvements.
• Monitor payroll and leave of absence integrations in Workday.
• Test and support payroll system implementations and enhancements.
• Monitor timekeeping compliance and escalate issues.
• Serve as first-level support for payroll inquiries via ServiceNow.
• Analyze and reconcile payroll tax liabilities, ensure compliance, and support audits.
• Maintain payroll documentation and ensure compliance with SOX and federal/state laws.
• Develop and improve payroll SOPs.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, or related roles.
• Strong Workday and ADP Smart Compliance experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
