Senior Data Security Consultant

The role involves analyzing customer requirements in data and information security, developing tailored solutions with Microsoft Purview, and supporting the development of long-term data security strategies. The candidate will advise proactively, implement solutions, develop use cases, and conduct workshops and training.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements in data and information security.
• Develop tailored solutions with Microsoft Purview.
• Support the development of long-term data security strategies.
• Advise proactively and implement solutions in team settings.
• Develop use cases to implement strategies practically.
• Conduct workshops and training on secure use of AI technologies and Microsoft Purview.
• Monitor market trends, derive use cases and business cases, and introduce new business opportunities.
• Live a presales mindset: present, position, and sell solutions directly to customers and at events.
• Support team as a mentor, share knowledge, and promote colleagues' development.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Data Security (Labeling, DLP, Insider Risk, etc.).
• Experience with Data Compliance is a plus.
• Security in design, deployment, and operation of Data Security solutions in Microsoft Cloud environment.
• Experience in projects from requirements analysis to troubleshooting and operation.
• Understanding of security frameworks, cloud security, and core infrastructure topics.
• Practical experience with AI technologies and securing them via Purview.
• Ability to communicate complex security topics clearly in workshops, pitches, or training.
• SC-400 / SC-401 certification is standard.
• Fluent in German and English, confident in international customer contexts.
