Senior Technical Specialist

The Sr. Technical Specialist at Watts provides expert-level support for Commercial and Industrial Water Treatment systems, troubleshooting, guiding customers, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This remote role is based out of Fort Worth, TX, and involves technical support, logistics, warranty management, and collaboration with third-party contractors.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $30.90 - $37.15 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Commercial/Industrial Water Treatment Products, including ultraviolet light, ion exchange, filtration, and reverse osmosis.
• Manage calls or emails regarding part replacements, programming, troubleshooting, and on-site startup for equipment.
• Logistics support including freight, shipping questions, order tracking, and lost shipments.
• Warranty support for all Commercial/Industrial Products.
• Use Salesforce Systems to manage service functions.
• Contract and provide technical product support and guidance to third-party service contractors.
• Review wiring diagrams, schematics, and CAD drawings.
• Work independently and in a team-oriented call-center environment.
• Communicate effectively at different organizational levels internally and externally.
• Provide after-hours on-call technical support on a rotating basis.
• Handle other projects and duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the water treatment industry, ideally 3-5 years.
• Field service coordination/project management experience is a plus.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
• Successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and pre-employment testing.
