Social Media Manager TikTok and Founder

Seeking a TikTok content creator and strategist to drive brand presence, develop content for founders, and grow the company's TikTok channel targeting Gen-Z and millennial audiences. The role involves content creation, strategy, performance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Location: Los Angeles, CA, NYC, or San Francisco/Bay Area, CA

Salary: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the TikTok channel focusing on Gen-Z and millennial audiences, including TikTok Shop presence.
• Develop and execute platform-native content strategy aligned with brand mission and cultural relevance.
• Build and manage TikTok Shop presence, driving traffic, conversion, and repeat purchases.
• Stay ahead of TikTok trends, sounds, formats, and creator culture.
• Coordinate cross-platform content strategy with Instagram and YouTube.
• Identify and develop agencies and influencers for content creation.
• Concept, shoot, edit, and publish TikTok content, developing recurring formats and series.
• Create content on product storytelling, childhood nutrition, brand values, and cultural moments.
• Capture real-time content at brand events and direct on-site photographers/videographers.
• Collaborate with Partnerships & Influencer team for creator activation.
• Manage vendor selection, outreach, payments, and execution for TikTok content.
• Work directly with founders to produce TikTok and Instagram content.
• Identify relevant brand moments for content creation with founders.
• Translate founders' personalities into platform-native content.
• Develop formats for founders' content and coordinate shoot logistics.
• Track and report TikTok KPIs, analyze performance data, and optimize content.
• Partner with E-commerce team for promotional alignment.
• Present performance results in quarterly reviews.

Requirements

• 4+ years of social media or content experience, with significant TikTok strategy and creation.
• Proven ability to grow TikTok accounts and drive business outcomes including TikTok Shop.
• Deep understanding of TikTok’s algorithm, trends, and creator ecosystem.
• Experience creating content for or with public figures, founders, or talent.
• Hands-on skills in concepting, shooting (preferably on mobile), and editing TikTok videos.
• Experience in CPG, beauty, food, lifestyle, or wellness brands preferred.
• Strong copywriting skills and ability to adapt voice.
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and talent.
• Highly self-directed with managing own schedule and reporting.
• Portfolio demonstrating TikTok content creation and results.
• Comfortable on-screen and directing talent in production environments.
• Previous exposure to sustainability and People & Culture work is a plus.
