Software Engineer Full Stack Product Engagement

Thatch is rewiring how health benefits work by building software that gives employees control over their benefits. They are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join their Product Engagement team to improve member and employer experiences from account creation through enrollment.

Location: United States

Salary: $170,000—$200,000 USD

Responsibilities

• Own and improve core product flows related to onboarding, activation, and enrollment.
• Build and ship full stack features, from backend services to user-facing interfaces.
• Instrument product surfaces to understand user behavior and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design, test, and iterate on changes that improve conversion.
• Work closely with product, design, and cross-functional partners to ship solutions.
• Contribute to systems that support engagement and lifecycle messaging.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping production web applications across the stack.
• Strong product judgment and comfort working through ambiguity.
• Ability to reason about user behavior and use data to inform decisions.
• Experience owning features end-to-end.
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration and good technical decision-making.

Additional Information

• The role involves working with Ruby on Rails, React, TailwindCSS, and tools like Mixpanel, Segment, Braze.
• Preferred experience includes work on onboarding, activation, or engagement-focused product areas, experience at early-stage or high-growth companies, and backgrounds in healthcare, finance, or similar complex domains.
