They seek a strategic Staff Product Manager to lead liability determination products, supporting fault evaluation, evidence incorporation, and jurisdictional complexity.

Responsibilities
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for liability determination products, aligning customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business outcomes.
- Design product solutions for liability determination, including evaluating fault across multi-party accidents, incorporating evidence, handling partial or disputed information, and supporting jurisdiction-specific rules.
- Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery to scale, especially for complex logic and edge cases.
- Partner with engineering, data, design, and claims experts to translate workflows into product experiences.
- Use data, experimentation, and feedback to improve decision quality, consistency, and explainability.
- Build systems balancing automation and human judgment, including decision-support tools and workflows.
- Create clarity in ambiguity by communicating complex logic and confidence levels.
- Ensure decisions are defensible and explainable for auditability, regulatory review, and customer trust.
Requirements
- Experience building products supporting complex adjudication or decision-making, ideally in insurance, risk, fintech, or regulated domains.
- Strong understanding of liability determination, including fault assessment, negligence, coverage, subrogation, and jurisdictional variability.
- Strategic product leadership with the ability to define vision and resolve nuanced edge cases.
- Technical fluency around rules, decision trees, data pipelines, or model-assisted recommendations.
- Analytical rigor in reasoning under uncertainty and evaluating probabilistic outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills to explain liability decisions to diverse audiences.
- Strong user empathy for claims professionals and customers in high-stress situations.
- Collaborative leadership style influencing across disciplines.
- Resilience in ambiguity, thriving in complex, messy input environments.
