Test Lead

The Test Lead is responsible for managing the entire testing process on projects, ensuring high-quality product delivery aligned with business requirements. The role requires knowledge of various test disciplines and effective execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Location: Barbados (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Leading the test activities from planning to implementation
• Collaborating with the Business Analyst to review, analyze and identify gaps in requirements
• Determining the need for creating and managing test plans
• Preparing test plans and obtaining approvals
• Working with the Business to determine testing scenarios
• Designing, constructing and documenting traceability matrices
• Assessing testing risks and developing mitigation strategies
• Creating testing artifacts
• Tracking test progress and providing status reports
• Managing variance records, severity, and statuses
• Reporting test metrics
• Escalating testing issues
• Coordinating administrative activities for the Test Team
• Preparing and delivering Test Completion reports
• Retaining artifacts for audit or legal requirements
• Managing the test team through their activities
