The Client Care Specialist role involves providing customer service and technical support for a captioning service that helps seniors and individuals with hearing loss stay connected. Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and chat.
- Provide feature training related to products and services.
- Meet weekly/monthly performance metrics.
- Manage customer contacts within Salesforce CRM.
- Perform account maintenance such as updating customer records and usage questions.
Requirements
- Experience in verbally explaining complex information to customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Minimum three years Customer Service experience.
- Basic telephony troubleshooting experience.
- Customer installation support experience.
- Minimum two years technical support experience in a call center or proven technical ability.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of customers.
- Ability to identify customer needs over the phone.
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Logical thinker following standard operating procedures.
- Problem-solving with limited information.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Discretion, sound decision-making, confidentiality.
- Reliable and predictable attendance.
- Proficient in MS Office and virtual communication tools (MS Teams).
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce tools.
- Past experience with a communications company in customer service.
