DevOps Engineer - Midnight Foundation

The role involves implementing best practices for monitoring, security, and automation in multi-cloud and bare metal environments to support blockchain infrastructure, with a focus on Cardano and Midnight projects. Ideal for candidates passionate about blockchain and privacy.

Location: Remote (Asia)

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and incident response for blockchain infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain open source tools for managing multi-cloud and bare metal environments.
• Troubleshoot issues during testing and deployment to prevent bottlenecks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure software development.
• Participate in on-call rotations for rapid incident mitigation.
• Manage scaling and transition to a decentralized validator network.

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE role with blockchain infrastructure experience.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Expertise in shell scripting, Rust, Go, and Python.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud) and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to write clear operational documentation.

Additional Information

• Remote role for candidates in Asia with 1-2 hours overlap with US/EU time zones.
• Flexible work schedule (Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday).
