Director of Sales Development

Location: Remote (US)

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales development function by setting strategy, targets, and operating model.
  • Build and develop managers and team leads.
  • Plan capacity and manage headcount and ramp models.
  • Defend the sales pipeline forecast quarter after quarter.
  • Align with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps on segmentation, routing, and qualification of opportunities.
  • Own the sales development stack and budget, and demonstrate return on investment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in sales development, including 2+ years managing managers or multiple teams.
  • Experience scaling sales development across multiple regions with consistent pipeline targets.
  • Understanding of funnel economics: pipeline creation, conversion rates, and team attainment.
  • Ability to develop management bench and lead teams of leaders.
  • Comfortable working with executives and owning revenue-related numbers.
