Director, Acquisition Sales (Financial Services)

Consumer Edge is seeking a senior commercial leader to expand its Financial Services franchise globally, targeting institutional investors across various fund types and building partnership channels.

Location: Remote (~25% travel)

Salary: $200,000 - $250,000

Responsibilities

• Market expansion within and beyond the core, penetrating new segments and developing segment-specific playbooks.
• Build and execute partnership and channel strategies to reach segments beyond direct sales.
• Lead and scale a team of BDMs and SDRs, setting coverage models and coaching on discovery, value articulation, deal strategy, and close discipline.
• Implement and enforce a consistent sales methodology, pipeline management, forecasting, and structured review cadences.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (CRO, CMO, CPO) to refine pricing, packaging, and messaging; drive demand levers for international growth; contribute to GTM strategy for new products.

Requirements

• Deep experience selling into institutional investors across multiple fund types, including hedge funds, credit funds, long-only managers, PE/VC.
• Proven track record building and scaling new business motions in alternative data, financial data, or analytics.
• Leadership experience managing quota-carrying BDMs and/or SDRs, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Support demand generation efforts and qualify demand from campaigns, events, and outbound programs.
• Refine segmentation, territories, comp plans, quotas; institute MEDDICC discipline and forecast governance.
