Product Manager Swim Team Store Experience

SwimOutlet is the largest online swim retailer in the U.S., supporting youth sports teams through its Team Store platform. They are building a community-focused, seamless shopping experience for coaches, parents, and athletes.

Salary: $50,000–$150,000

Responsibilities

• Own the Swim Team Store roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements.
• Engage directly with swim coaches, team admins, parents, and athletes to understand their needs.
• Use rapid prototyping tools like Lovable, Claude, and Figma to test ideas and iterate.
• Partner with engineering, UX, marketing, and operations to deliver product releases.
• Ensure the platform is trustworthy, frictionless, and inspiring.
• Define and track KPIs such as adoption, NPS, retention, and team order value, and use data to refine the product.
• Align product initiatives with strategic goals, ensuring ROI and customer impact.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years experience in product management, preferably in ecommerce, SaaS, or B2B platforms.
• Background in ecommerce operations, community-driven products, or team sports retail.
• Firsthand experience with swim teams or youth sports organizations as a coach, athlete, parent, or administrator.
• Strong working knowledge of prototyping tools like Lovable, Figma, or similar.
• Deep empathy for end users and ability to advocate for their needs.
• Comfort with defining KPIs, analyzing performance, and making data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication skills for alignment and storytelling across teams.
• Proven entrepreneurial ability to identify opportunities, build solutions, and drive innovation in fast-paced environments.
