The Professional Services Business Development Manager (PS BDM) at Arista Networks is responsible for managing pre-sales processes, creating network solutions, and engaging with customers, sales, and internal teams to grow the professional services pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Manage PS Pre-Sales process and create deliverables such as presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Position and promote PS offerings to customers, partners, and sales teams.
  • Respond to RFPs and develop customized solutions for customers.
  • Collaborate with PS Technical Leads and engineers to scope engagements.
  • Negotiate business terms and contracts with Legal and Finance.
  • Monitor post-sales deliverables for consistency and quality.
  • Manage pre-sales pipeline and report on status.
  • Coordinate project handoff to delivery teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years providing and selling professional services solutions, preferably in data center, campus, SD-WAN networking migrations and deployments.
  • Experience managing customers through large project sales and delivery in enterprise or service provider markets.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and contract negotiation skills.
  • Experience with SOW writing and RFP responses.
  • Proficiency with G Suite Tools, Kantata, Salesforce CRM.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Preferred: MBA or technical degree, network vendor certifications, PMI or project management certifications.
