The Sales Manager will oversee sales activities and develop strategies for pediatric orthopedic surgical implants and devices, focusing on the Northern California scoliosis market, with potential for expansion.
Location: Northern California, USA
Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales of surgical implants and medical devices to the Pediatric Medical Community.
- Develops annual business plan to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Attends surgeries and assists surgical staff with product questions and education.
- Maximizes opportunities to increase market share from competitors.
- Sells consultatively and recommends solutions to prospects and clients.
- Develops a database of qualified leads through various outreach methods.
- Assists in implementing marketing plans.
- Creates and conducts proposals and RFP responses.
- Maintains accurate records of sales activities.
- Adheres to company policies and ethics.
- Meets sales quotas.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry or 2-5 years of orthopedic medical device experience.
- Extensive experience in sales and account management.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team.
- Proven ability to achieve and surpass sales quotas.
