Senior Regional Medical Advisor

The role is for a Medical Affairs professional who will serve as the scientific face of the organization, engaging with thought leaders and physicians in a specified therapy area to support healthcare professional needs, develop strategic medical plans, and contribute to product and medical education.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with thought leaders and physicians through medical affairs activities in alignment with strategic plans.
  • Execute strategic medical affairs plans including medical education, evidence generation, advisory boards, and special projects.
  • Discuss scientific data, treatment trends, and studies with healthcare professionals, establishing trust and credibility.
  • Support optimal patient outcomes by communicating data and insights.
  • Represent the organization at scientific platforms.
  • Gather insights on disease trends and treatment patterns from thought leaders.
  • Conduct disease trend analysis and contribute to Medical Affairs Strategy.
  • Handle scientific information requests from physicians.
  • Ensure activities comply with company policies and ethics.
  • Collaborate on therapy-specific reviews, meta-analyses, and publish in journals.
  • Develop training plans for medical developments for sales and marketing teams.
  • Identify unmet needs and contribute to new product development.
  • Develop strategic medical action plans to address knowledge, practice, and data gaps.

Requirements

  • MBBS with full-time postgraduate qualification of at least 2 years in any discipline of medicine or MBBS with MBA from a reputed institute.
  • Fresh postgraduate or up to 2 years of experience in Field-based Medical Affairs.
