The Senior Technical Solutions Architect at MCG supports successful sales engagements by providing advanced technical expertise across healthcare products and platforms. This client-facing role involves translating customer technical requirements into scalable, secure solutions, and collaborating with various internal teams to ensure successful integration and deployment.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $111,000 - $155,400

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales Executives and Sales Solution Architects to lead complex pre-sales engagements in healthcare markets.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customer IT, security, and digital health stakeholders.
  • Lead technical solution strategies involving FHIR, HL7, APIs, and healthcare data exchange.
  • Support embedded workflows, system extensibility, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Explain and validate healthcare data integration approaches.
  • Articulate AI model integration into healthcare solutions.
  • Lead enterprise deals involving EHR integrations and digital ecosystem expansion.
  • Align technical architecture with customer business outcomes.
  • Conduct technical due diligence including security reviews and risk assessments.
  • Discuss authentication, authorization, and secure data exchange patterns.
  • Design and present technical architectures and deployment models.
  • Partner with internal teams to validate technical feasibility and scope.
  • Communicate technical capabilities and limitations effectively.
  • Assist in defining implementation approaches and integration timelines.
  • Develop technical collateral and enablement materials.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with healthcare technical integrations, architecture, and AI solutions.
  • Experience with security, privacy, and compliance in enterprise healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of software development, API-driven, service-based, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards like FHIR and HL7.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
